Fun Threading Pineapple Craft Idea
Supplies To Make Pineapple Paper Lacing Crafts:
Free Printable Lacing Pineapple Craft Template (Click the pink link towards the end of this post to get yours.)
White Printer Cardstock
Marker Pens or Paint (Optional)
Colourful Yarn
Sticky Tape
Single Hole Puncher
Glue
1 – Download and print the free pineapple craft templates.
2 – If you are choosing the black and white pineapples, colour them in or paint them.
3 – Use your single hole puncher to punch out the threading holes around the edge of the pineapple pieces. Their position is marked for your convenience.
4 – Sticky tape a length of colourful yarn to the back of the paper pineapple. Thread the yarn through the punched holes to follow the printed lines. Younger children might like to thread randomly. (Top tip: to aid threading wrap a little sticky tape around the end of the yarn to make it rigid.)
5 – When you have finished lacing your fruit pieces sticky tape the end of the yarn to the back.
6 – Glue the pineapple top to the pineapple fruit and your lacing craft is ready to go on display!
